Morning to everyone!

We had a long break as we were asked to do a project for Katsucon (http://www.katsucon.com ) that required a lot of artistic time, as well as getting interrupted by the Holidays and real life work issues on my end…so I apologize for that now. One hopes the season brought all good cheer and health as well as perhaps a brighter new year to look forward to.

As you may guess, we will be at Katsucon (those of us that are stateside anyway) so feel free to look us up there. I hope you enjoy the current page and look to see quite a few more as soon as we can get them out.

I am also gonna attempt to finally get some of the other sections of the web page working today, so bear with me…

Heya all!

Satanasov is back from his trip to England so he got an update to us as fast as his schedule could allow! As you can see from the first panel, the text on the pillar was translated by Col. Givens…though what it means is anyone’s guess.

In other news, life has been very hectic for me at work, as I am now having to pull about 4 other people’s jobs (all deployed) as well as my own. Its a pain, but someone has to do it. I should be, with any luck, at AnimeUSA ( http://www.animeusa.org ) in a few weeks…I’ll have more details later.

Heya all!

Lots of stuff has happened since the last update…

1. Satanasov got his with a lot of work at his company to produce art for an upcoming Nintendo title, so couldn’t produce pages for a while. He is back and hopefully we’ll start doing some regular work now.

2. I found out I am not going to be deploying…a long story in and of itself, but the final news is that I’ll be staying here. Dealing with it has kept me very busy though.

3. I’ll be making a list of CONS I’ll be attending that I would not have been able to…and do some more work on the site I have been putting off too long.

Sorry that it has been so long since I last posted, but I have been dealing with a bout of Flu, thus wasn’t up to doing much else than trying to fight it off.

As you know, I am in the Military, getting ready to deploy to the Middle East…so one generally assumes I am biased towards a ‘conservative viewpoint’ (far from the case BTW).  At any rate, I have been following the debate in the American Politics venue on the current revelations on just how far the previous administration stooped in its interrogation and treatment of people captured as ‘Terror Suspects’.  Here is a good article on the issue:  http://voices.washingtonpost.com/white-house-watch/torture/torturing-for-propaganda-purpo.html
A comment to this article struck me as particularly telling, one which sums up my position on this debate pretty nicely:

I would be interested in where you received your interrogation training.

Because at the Army Intelligence School we were taught early some very important points about the use of this garbage.

It. Is. Morally. Reprehensible.
It. Does. Not. Work.
It. Puts. Soldiers’. Lives. In. Danger.

That doesn’t even address the fact that it violates most everything this nation is supposed to stand for. There was a reason that this stuff wasn’t found in the Army training manual.

The terrorists achieved a huge strategic victory when the US stooped to using this stuff. In the name of defending the “homeland” (I hate that term), we cast aside everything that makes this country great and worth defending.

My sorry hide isn’t what is worth defending, and neither is yours. Who we are as a people and a nation, and our founding ideals, are the things worth dying for. When you cast that aside, you’ve lost already. That’s what the terrorists were trying to do in the first place.

Hello all!

Work schedule has been busy for both me and Satanasov but we finally managed to get another page updated.  We will try to put out pages as we can, but do not look for a regular schedule just yet…we’ll keep trying to hit one though.

Things will however get busier for me as we near my deployment date and I should be offline for almost a month during transit to Saudi.  From all information though I will have internet there, so will be able to resume contact then. We’ll see.

Good Morning all!

Here’s the latest update, which took Satanasov a bit extra to get done..though I am sure you will all agree it is worth it!

Other than that, Pennsic was fun and I got to fight again, which is always cool.  Here is a Youtube video taken by some people there (I don’t know them) that actually shows me and the group I was with fighting in the Field Battle ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzrARX9O340 ).  If you want to see me, look for the Green / Red Banner with Gold Crosses being carried on the field.  That is me, as I was fighting with the banner pole in my left hand and my sword in the right.  Fun times…

Heya all!

Sorry for the long delay…there were several reasons for that.  Firstly Satanasov was selected to do an art tour of the Balkans representing Bulgaria in several shows.  This led to him being away for most of a month and unable to do Chisuji work until he returned, which was this week.

As for myself, I was swamped in my real life job pulling 19 hours days for 2 weeks straight for our ORI and to prepare for my upcoming deployment to Saudi Arabia.  It has been really busy.  Also for the next week, I will be away at Pennsic War and will be returning August 10th!  Expect the next update to be on August 11th and hopefully we will slip back into a regular schedule.

That said, here is the update..hope you all enjoy it.

Afternoonish!

We’d have had this up earlier, but there was a problem with Satanasov’s work computer where it would save the web version of the page in a manner that distorted all the text.  But at least we got this up..and you can see the focusing shots overlaid with the excerpts from the diary of Col. Givens.  Who is Col.  Givens?  You’ll find out…

During this week I’ll be gearing Chisuji up for Anime Mid Atlantic where we are Guests this weekend, 19 – 21 June 2009.  I will be leaving for the convention Thursday morning, so its up in the air whether or not I’ll have the update posted before then – We’ll see…
